For a complete tie rod solution you will need two of any style of our brackets to match the tie rod assembly you create here

Note: Tie rod assemblies without a turnbuckle have one long rod

If you use an N plate at the top of the truss you will probably use a U plate on the bottom of the truss

The T6  is useful for connecting king and queen posts to truss bottom tie beams

U star plates are used to connect the bottom tie beam of a truss to two struts without a king post. 3 16" steel is a good choice for purely decorative plates. 1 4" is better for applications that need structural support.
