Visit him on MPMs Third Floor! In 1928, MPM staff went to Africa on the Cudahy Massee Expedition and adopted an injured, motherless cub. He was named Simba, the Swahili word for lion, and he quickly won the hearts of the Museum team. Simba returned to Milwaukee where he lived and played in the taxidermy studio and on the roof of the Museums third home,
