The 'duck bill' valve is designed to be self cleaning and is less likely to get clogged with salt build up as this will usually pass through the valve. The hose tails are 38mm (1"), intended specifically for use in WC systems. This can be installed onto a mounting bracket to enable it to be fitted clear of engine room
