it is so fabulous that it would actually be a shame if it was not worn out and about

yet still chic now

I love that front flat pleated "apron" that entire panel of pleating is actually a separate piece that is attached at the waist so swings and adds extra movement

They where famous for their chorus girls and were quite risque for the times - my client is a long time collector so I feel assured this is most likely true

This is of course what he was known for his cleverly screened dresses gave the appearance of elaborate dinner suits. He did them on poly jerseys like this one this fabric was cutting edge at the time and held colour magnificently. It has enough weight to hold the shape as he desired but to still drape and move beautifully on the wearer. It is virtually wrinkle free and easy to travel with. I love the design
