1969 Oscar de la Renta Gypsy Metallic Dress Set designer-joy-stevens All hand finished and exquisitelyI have included a photo of Charlene Dash taken for Vogue 1969 in a similar outfit where Oscar added a vest over a gown to create a fabulous Gypsy feel dress. It is shockingly light I know it looks like it should not be with the gold at first glance it appears to be a brocade, but the fabric is actually a light textured silk organza fabric. Onto this, gold thread has been worked in to highlight the vibrant print that is custom screened onto the gown.
